Freelance writer is seeking to interview a woman no older than 32 who was so certain that she didn't want children that she was sterilised in her twenties. You would need to feel comfortable being photographed but a generous fee will be paid to you and copy read back to you for your approval. Did anyone watch Panorama last night? It was about a boy who has been on medication for ADHD since he was 4/5. He is now 14 and has big, big problems. If he makes it to his 18the birthday I'll be suprised.

The also spoke to a girl (not sure of her age) who went into a psychiatric hospital last year for a few months to get help, she has also been on meds for a long time.

Another reason not to have kids I think.

Question for you all - have you told your parents that you are CF? How did they take the news? Are any of you estranged from your parents because of your choice?

I haven't told mine, however I suspect they have a idea because of the way I speak about children or make comments on their behaviour. They have never said anything about being grandparents, which I am happy about.

i could do with a bitof support on this one. I decided as a kid to remain childfree and i have stuff to it and am happy with my choice. i have suffered all the comments i have read about on this site but i am in the middle of another common problem, loosing a man i love because he wants kids and i don't.

Did anyone see the story in the paper on Saturday? A couple have already had IVF which hasn't worked, they have now turned to the husband's Dad to provide sperm, yes you read that right the potential Grandfather.

I don't have the words to describe how I feel about this, whilst they didn't say if the couple plan to tell future child about his/her parentage I can't help but feel secrets like this usually come out.

I've been considering paying into one of those cheap health funds which pays towards dental care, glasses etc and am a bit miffed at what I've found.

The basic level of care doesn't quite give the cover I want. The next level, which includes some different things, is clearly called ONE ADULT, yet it includes cover for one adult plus almost identical cover for a child free of charge. It also includes maternity cover.
